Young Iranian actor Navid Mohammadzadeh has won award at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards in Australia.
Mohammadzadeh received the special jury award for his appearance in Vahid Jalilvand’s ‘No Date, No Signature’.
The movie narrates the story of Kaveh Nariman, a doctor who works at the Iranian Legal Medicine Organization. He has to examine the corpse of someone that he used to know in the past.
The festival also dedicated the Lifetime Achievement Award to late Iranian director Abbas Kiarostami on his 77th birthday anniversary.
Established in 2007 and headquartered in Brisbane, APSA is an international cultural program driven by Brisbane City Council through Brisbane Marketing endorsed by UNESCO and International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF).
The 11th edition of APSA presented the awards to the winners in Brisbane, Australia, on November 23.
